Ossidex on iPad: CT, CBCT and MRI

A short product tour: three-plane viewing, linked MRI series, a dental panorama and 3D. Download video
Video description

The tour introduces Ossidex, shows multiplanar viewing, a knee MRI in linked windows, the dental panoramic arch with cross-sections, and a rotating 3D skull. This edited overview is not a complete import or export tutorial.

Three planes and oblique MPR on iPad

A recorded CBCT example showing linked axial, sagittal and coronal planes and oblique orientation. Download video
Video description

The sample CBCT opens as slices and then as linked MPR panels. Moving the crosshair changes the corresponding positions in the other planes. The reference lines rotate for an oblique view. The recording uses a dental CBCT; it is not a separate medical CT dataset.

Linked MRI windows: a short example

A 2-second excerpt of a knee MRI in linked windows from the published iPad tour. Download video
Video description

A knee MRI is displayed in several panels. The axial image and the lower sagittal and coronal series provide different views of the same region. This short excerpt illustrates the layout; the written MRI guide explains the import and viewing steps.

Dental panorama and numbered cross-sections

A sample CBCT in the panoramic arch layout, with perpendicular cross-sections below the curve. Download video
Video description

The upper panel shows the reconstructed panorama. The axial panel shows the curve through the dental arch, and the lower panels show numbered cross-sections. Scrolling changes the sections along the curve. This is a reconstruction from a volume, not a conventional 2D panoramic X-ray.

Adjust the dental arch and inspect the result

Recorded arch editing and the resulting panorama and cross-sections. Controls reflect an earlier app recording. Download video
Video description

The arch editor displays adjustable control points on an axial slice. After the curve is adjusted, the panorama and cross-sections show the result. The settings panel includes projection and slab controls. Check the curve against the anatomy instead of accepting an automatic proposal without review.

3D volume presets and clipping on iPad

A recorded sample skull volume with rotation, rendering presets and a clipping plane. Download video
Video description

The skull volume rotates in the 3D view. The settings panel changes the rendering preset and the clipping plane exposes the inside of the volume. A 3D presentation helps orientation; use the original slices and appropriate planes to examine detail.
